The Management Team

Kelly Hall, Managing Director

Kelly is responsible for the running of OCTANE and directing high-level B2B and B2C integrated campaigns.

With ten years' experience, Kelly has worked across a number of established, and challenger, brands in the technology, B2B and consumer space including Business Objects, Progress Software, Google, Coremetrics and SANYO. Kelly currently directs BT Retail's Corporate and Business broadband, BT Devices and BT Regions communications campaigns.

Specialising in issues and client management, Kelly provides strategic and media counsel.





David Brown, Head of Editorial

David is responsible for enhancing clients’ profiles by gaining coverage with national, regional, consumer and B2B media. He has worked for more than 20 years on newspapers including the News of the World, The People, The Sun, Daily Express and The London Paper. He specialises in copy-writing, media training and counsel and offering strategic advice on crisis management.



Rachel Matthews, Account Director

As an account director, Rachel is responsible for the strategic direction of accounts. Rachel also helps develop media and client materials, coordinating background research for written material including press releases and customer case studies. At OCTANE, Rachel has worked on a number of technical and corporate accounts, ranging from companies such as Progress Software, Perot Systems and BT Business.

Rachel has a strong technical background including five years pan-EMEA in-house PR experience. With a broad background in a variety of marketing and media disciplines, Rachel brings a holistic and integrated approach to client’s media and marketing campaigns and is able to advise on all aspects of campaign planning and management.
